Cons: Despite being one of the most popular social media scheduling tools, it can be pricey. Their plans start from $49 USD a month for one user. This platform may not be the ideal fit for nano or micro-influencers because of the pricing. Despite having so many features and tools that are amazing to use, many of these come at an additional price on top of the monthly fee.

2. Later

Pros: Later is another popular social media tool with many different features. This platform is compatible with Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok, Twitter, and LinkedIn. With this platform users can visually plan their content calendar, with the ability to add notes, labels, or stars to easily filter content. Later offers one of the most price-friendly packages, starting with a free plan for 1 user. 

Cons: This platform does not have a bulk upload feature which can make it difficult to schedule and plan content accordingly when there is a busy schedule. Depending on the frequency of posts, the free plan may not be the most ideal as it only allows for the scheduling of 10 social posts per platform per month.

3. SocialPilot

Pros: This is one of the most simple and affordable content scheduling tools. It is compatible with multiple platforms such as TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Pinterest, and Tumblr. Plans are affordable and start from $25.50 USD a month for one user. Through the platform, you can create customized posts for each social media platform as well as manage social inboxes directly from the dashboard. This platform is also able to accurately analyze, monitor, and report your social media performance. 

Cons: Smaller influencers may be limited to the cheaper plan on SocialPilot, and therefore do not have access to white-label reports/dashboards and are unable to send PDF reports via email. While the main purpose of this platform is to monitor social media accounts, individuals on the 1 user plan will not be able to reply to post comments, Facebook messages, or page posts through the dashboard.

4. CoSchedule

Pros: This platform is known for its content calendar feature, and is compatible with Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Pinterest, and Tumblr. CoSchedule is affordable to use and offers a free plan for 1 user. Another great feature is that CoSchedule keeps you consistent with your posting. If you miss out on your posting schedule, the platform will automatically fill in the gaps with your top-performing post. 

Cons: Despite having a ReQueue feature, it only allows you to queue your posts twice. The platform also does not offer many integrations and collaborations with other tools which makes it less efficient to use.

5. MeetEdgar

Pros: This platform has a tool called evergreen posting where it schedules social media posts for you so that your queue is never empty. Once a post is uploaded, it saves the post in your library to reuse later. MeetEdgar supports Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, and LinkedIn. The plans are relatively cheap compared to other platforms with the Lite plan for only $19 USD a month for up to 20 users.

Cons: Although the platform allows users to schedule posts based on categories, once an image has been placed in the queue, it cannot be rescheduled to be posted at a later time. Depending on how frequently you want to post and on how many platforms, the Lite plan may not be the most ideal as it only allows for 10 weekly automation.
