How to Create a Campaign with Embold

Creating a campaign with Embold is a straightforward process that can be completed in just a few steps. In this article, we'll go over how to get started and fill out the necessary information to launch your campaign.

Step 1: General Information

The first step in creating a campaign is to fill in the general information. This will provide influencers with important details about your campaign.

  • Campaign Name: Give your campaign a descriptive and memorable name.
  • Brand Name: Enter the name of your brand.
  • Campaign Objective: Outline the overall goal of your campaign. Is it for brand awareness, product launch, or something else? Choose the option that best aligns with your objective.
  • Campaign Discovery: If you choose the marketplace option, influencers that match your target market will be able to apply to the campaign.
  • Compensation Type: Decide whether your campaign will be Paid, Gifted, or Paid and Gifted. A Paid campaign provides monetary compensation only, a Gifted campaign provides products only, and a Paid and Gifted campaign provides both. This choice cannot be changed later, so choose wisely.
  • Campaign Budget: Set the budget for your entire campaign.
  • Gift Value: If you plan to send a product, enter its value or price.
  • Gift Quantity: Specify the approximate number of gifts you plan to send out. For example, if you want to work with 50 influencers, select 50 gifts.
  • Gift Details: Provide a description of the product, its value, and its purpose.
  • Campaign Summary: Give a comprehensive summary of your campaign, including an introduction to your brand, a description of the campaign, and the type of influencers you're seeking.

Step 2: Target Market

The next step is to define your target market.

  • Set the target market by selecting gender, age groups, type of influencer (Nano, Micro, Macro, Mega), and location.

Step 3: Campaign Details

In this step, you'll provide content guidelines for influencers.

  • Content Deliverables: Choose the type and quantity of content you want each influencer to create.
  • Key Messaging: Include any key phrases, images, product features, etc. that influencers should mention in their content.
  • Timeline: Specify the time frame for the campaign, including the start date, end date, and content submission deadline.
  • Required Questions for Influencers: Influencers who apply to or are invited to your campaign will need to answer these questions. Examples of campaign questions include "Why do you think you would be a good fit for this campaign?" or "What do you do in your personal life to live sustainably?" You can view influencer answers before accepting them into the campaign.
  • Requested Information: If necessary, request the influencer's address or phone number.
  • Additional Information: Include key hashtags, accounts to be tagged, promo codes, and any specific links that influencers should share. If you have personal links and codes for influencers, you can type "TBD" in the box and distribute them later once the campaign approvals are sent out.

Step 4: Service Agreement

In the final step, you'll be shown a copy of Embold's standard service agreement and have the option to add any additional terms. The Embold service agreement gives you social rights to the content (reposting on social media with credit given). If there are any additional terms that need to be added please feel free to do so at this step.

Step 5: Review and Submit

Review your campaign and submit it. After payment, your campaign will go live, and you can start inviting influencers to participate.
