- Open Instagram App: Make sure you have the latest version of the Instagram app installed on your device.
- Log In: Log into your personal account that you'd like to switch to a creator account.
- Go to Profile: Tap on your profile picture in the bottom right corner.
- Access Settings: Tap the three horizontal lines (menu icon) in the top right corner, then select "Settings."
- Navigate to Account: In the Settings menu, tap "Account."
- Switch to Creator Account: Scroll down and tap "Switch to Professional Account." Then, choose "Creator."
- Choose Your Category: Select a category that best describes what you do. This helps people understand what kind of content you create.
- Connect to a Facebook Page (Optional): You can connect your Creator Account to a Facebook Page for additional features.
- Complete the Setup: Follow the on-screen instructions to finalize your Creator Account.
